Sawwara

Month of the Deliverer

Sawwara 1st—30th 91HIM August 29th—September 27th 2022

The Deliverer flying over water

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved.”
St John 3:16-17

Sawwara revelation comes from the baptism of Tafari as a child at 40 days old (31st August 1892) according to tradition. Tafari was baptised and given the baptismal name ‘Haile Selassie’ and as young as he was he was now set in place for Jah revelation. Tafari was now established in Christ and deposited wth Christ’s new name of authority, for Christ and the Father’s coming glory as Haile Selassie 1st.

(Colossians 1:12-14; St Matthew 3:13-15; Romans 6:3-4; St Matthew 28:18-20)

Acts 8:26 –39

The fruit of Sawwara speaks of deliverance, newness of life and to be thankful to Jah! It testifies of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love and gift of God to us and that the old and destructive way has no hold on us and has passed away.
(St John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 5:16-17)

SELAH! Pause and think about this…

“Now, as they went down the road, they came to some wa- ter. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptised?” Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and he baptised him.”

Acts 8:36-37

“No doubt you will all remember reading in the Acts of the Apostles how Philip baptised the Ethiopian official. He was the first Ethiopian on record to have followed Christ and from that time onwards the Word of God has continued to grow in the hearts of Ethiopians.”

HIM Haile Selassie 1st

“Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptised by him. And John tried to prevent Him saying, ‘I need to be baptised by You and are You coming to me?’ But Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfil all righteousness.’ Then he allowed Him.”

St Matthew 3:13-15
